Tip your hats....

....HATS has come to an end for the year.  I don't know whether to celebrate or mourn.  I'm gonna miss it, but oh well, there's always the picnic coming up, so that'll be cool.

I can't believe my book is finally finished.  My I say "FFFFFFFFFFIIIIIIIIIINAAAAALLLLLLYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"  *ahem*  I guess it turned out OK.  Better than I expected, worse than I had hoped for, like most things in my life.  I meant it to be an action story, but it turned into more of an inner struggle thing.  Ah well, that's cool I guess.

Last night I did something I never thought I, Mr. Meek himself, would be able to pull off.  I did a teaching in my purpose group.  Yay!  *waves banners*  I guess it's something I'll have to get used to, seeing as I'm now leader of that group.  Trying to explain God's word to a bunch of rowdy unbelievers is no easy task. 0_o

In other news, Bible Quizzing is coming to a close, which is sad, but I can't wait to get a fresh start after falling so far behind this year.  But with the end of the season comes an especially fun day with the rest of the quizzers, so I'm looking forward to that.

Well, that's all for now, loyal followers of Waldo.  Until next time.....

(well I'm telling you now )

What do think of my new look?

Ouch

I've got so many bruises from sledding today it's not even funny.  OK, so maybe it is funny.  I never realized  simple sledding could be so painful.

Yesterday was Snowflake, which was awesome as always, even though I stunk.  HATS JV got 2nd, David got 9th top quizzer varsity and Peter got 2nd place JV, so congrats to all those people.

I realized that I had forgotten to post the URL of the day last post, so I'll give y'all two this time.

Sweet 16

So the other day we got a letter from York College addressed to "Mr. and Mrs. Shitney."  Yeah.  Your college just insulted us, Hamilton.

Anyway, today's my birthday, so that's pretty cool.  I can finally get my permit!  Though it might be a good idea to get the drivers' ed book first so I don't fail the test miserably.

I bet I'm about to make a bunch of enemies by saying this, but.........*deep breath*.........I'm suddenly really into Japanese animation.  Calm down and hear me out!  Not with the shows themselves (with the exception of Last Exile which I am obsessed with) but with the actual animation.  There's just something about it that I really like......

Please don't kill me.

SKIING ROCKS!

Skiing on Tuesday was so much fun!  A big group of people went to Bear Creek for Ben's birthday (happy belated birthday, by the way).  It was my third time skiing and I finally got up the courage to go off some jumps other than the tiny ones. YAY! OK, so I wiped out every time but hey, s'all good right?

Anyway, I'm planning on going again on the 20th and I can't wait!  Another thing I'm really anticipating is the Snowflake bible quiz tournament.  And yet another upcoming highlight of the month is..............*drumroll*............... MY BIRTHDAY!  Sweet 16.  I'll be on the road before long, so y'all better watch out. :P
